Business Development Manager - Embedded System Design and Development (Job Code BDM230307)

Sankhya Technologies Inc, is an embedded systems startup focused on offering cutting-edge solutions in the areas of application driven embedded system design. The company plans to offer products and services in the areas of processor design and rapid tool chain development.

We have an immediate requirement for a Business Development Manager who will use market knowledge and skills for achieving key business goals.

Responsibilities include creation of annual sales plans, need and opportunity analysis, identifying focus areas and target customers, creating and delivering proposals and presentations, generating design wins, creating strong reference accounts, managing key accounts and thereby achieving sales goals.

Position requires extensive local travel and up to 20% national and international travel.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will possess a BS or MS preferably in electronics or computer science, an MBA in Marketing and 3-5 years of experience in field application engineering, product marketing and sales roles spanning embedded software development tools and hardware design tools for the consumer electronics industry.

Successful candidate will possess proven skills in developing business opportunities and will have strong interpersonal, leadership and customer satisfaction skills.

The business development manager will be based out of San Jose, California. Sankhya offers a challenging startup environment, stock options, a reasonable base salary and competitive variable pay linked to performance.
