You require a valid license feature file (some times referred to as a software lock) on your computer to evaluate SANKHYA Software. To be able to generate the license file for your computer, we need a hostid. Identifying hostid depends on your operating system. You can determine the hostid of your computer using this process:

On Solaris Hosts

At the shell prompt, enter the command:

        > hostid

On Linux Hosts

Use the following command from shell:

        > ifconfig

hostid is the "HWaddr" displayed by the above command
        for your ethernet device (eth0).

On Windows Hosts

Use the following command from command prompt:

        > ipconfig /all

hostid is the MAC address -- "Physical Address of Ethernet
